Prayer and Praise

“Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored, as happened among you.”*

“Reaching the deaf in the world for Christ” is the vision that God has given to ICCD. There are 70 million deaf scattered around the world. How can we possibly share God’s love with all of them? Perhaps God has scattered 70 million deaf around the world so that we will always remember his work is much larger than we are. Perhaps this unbelievable task is another way that God is reminding us His Body has many members and that each member needs the others. Right now, God is using weak people like us to do impossible things like reach the deaf in the world for Christ.

When David was putting together the resources for the construction of God’s temple, he assigned teams of builders, teams of supervisors, and a team of 4000 of God’s children who would simply praise God while the work proceeded. As we build teams to join us in fulfilling the vision God has entrusted to us, we’re going to praise God!

Will you join us in trusting God to reach the deaf in the world? When God moves, the earth rejoices. Will you join us in praising Him for everything He is doing?
