The vision to start Church Schools around the world is foundational to ICCD being able to reach the deaf in the world for Christ. These Church Schools, however, need a hub where they can find the support they need to effectively reach the deaf in their neighborhoods. ICCD is committed to establishing hubs like these in every country or region we enter. Without these hubs, Church Schools would not be able to exist.

Each hub will be a training center where national teachers can come for training modules of varying lengths. During these modules, teachers will find encouragement as they network with other teachers from other areas. They will also sharpen their teaching skills and learn to more effectively minister to the deaf. Furthermore, teachers will be outfitted with the curriculum they’ll use in the next school year. In many ways, these hubs are the support centers that make outlying Church Schools viable. While the hub supports Church School teachers in outlying areas, some hubs will also double as a residential school where deaf children who are unable to attend a Church School can be educated and meet Christ.
